Supporting Rhode Islanders with compassionate care during the end of life journey.
Supporting Rhode Islanders with compassionate care during the end of life journey.
You are not alone on this journey. We are here to help you.
Death is hard and sad, but it can much better when you have someone to guide you through it. We can help you create a more peaceful path through this sacred time of life.
My calling is to bring a calming presence and structured support that allows for more of those meaningful moments with you and your loved ones.
Remember, death is not the end of life; it is a sacred transition for you, your family and community. Love never dies.
As part of the Rhode Island community, we understand local resources and our many cultural traditions. We work closely with local hospice agencies, elder communities and facilities, churches, senior centers and through community referrals.
Even with the best hospice services available, there are often significant gaps in care and information. We work closely with you and your family to provide comforting guidance to manage the process and fill the gaps.
We can guide you through the dying process and discuss effective symptom and pain management options. Ultimately, we help you decide on the best plan that supports your dignity and eases the anxiety for caregivers and loved ones.
We honor each person’s unique journey and wishes as they approach this crucial end-of-life stage. No matter where you are in this process, we are here to help.

Our approach honors the wishes and values of each client, ensuring that planning and decisions are handled with sensitivity and care. Much like an expectant mother creating a 'birth plan', you can articulate how you wish to be treated, how you want to spend your valuable time.
We offer and recommend the award-winning advanced planning tool 'Five Wishes'. This easy-to-use format helps you clarify and document what matters most to you during end-of-life care. This tool ensures that your preferences are known and legally valid.
We can assist you and your loved ones in getting your final preparations in order. We can assist with selecting a funeral home provider. We can help with planning and conducting memorial services. There are several key tasks we can help you complete to ensure the practical aspects run smoothly for everyone.
Our goal is to honor life, respect grief, soften fear, and meet every breath with dignity and grace. Whether you need vigil support, prayer, last rites, music, or respite care, we can help, whether planned in advance or at a moment's notice.
Dianne Du
An experienced death doula, Dianne is an open-hearted and gentle soul with gifts of encouragement and peaceful presence.
As an interfaith chaplain and musician, Dianne provides 'soul care' at the energetic level. The soul is not dying but is preparing for its disembodiment and transition.
Some transitions are more peaceful than others. Every transition can be made easier with someone to calmly support the process for everyone.
"As we identify more with the soul, fear diminishes, and trust grows, because the soul is not afraid of death." - Ram Dass
